Bluebonnet Aeration professional core lawn aeration service

We do one thing.
We do it well.

Core lawn aeration for residential homeowners — serving multiple markets with flat-rate pricing and no hidden fees.

Why we started Bluebonnet Aeration

Most homeowners know their lawn needs aeration — they just never do it. Not because they don’t care, but because getting it done has always been unreasonably difficult.

Buying a core aerator is expensive

Commercial-grade machines cost thousands. Consumer-grade ones don’t pull deep enough to actually work. Neither makes sense for an annual service.

Rentals are a hassle

Hauling a 300-lb machine in your car, returning it by a deadline, learning to operate it safely — all for one annual service. It’s more trouble than most people want to take on.

General lawn companies bundle and upsell

Full-service lawn care companies offer aeration as an expensive add-on inside a package you didn’t ask for. You end up paying for services you don’t need.

We built Bluebonnet Aeration to solve all three problems at once. Professional equipment, specialist focus, flat-rate pricing — and an online booking process that takes less than two minutes.

What core aeration actually does

Core aeration uses hollow tines to extract small cylindrical plugs of soil — typically two to four inches deep — at regular intervals across your lawn. This single mechanical process triggers a chain of improvements that no amount of watering or fertilizer alone can achieve on compacted ground.

Air exchange

Opens the soil profile to oxygen — essential for root respiration and healthy microbial activity that feeds your turf from the ground up.

Water infiltration

Creates channels for water to move past the thatch layer and reach the root zone — making every inch of rain and every minute of irrigation more effective.

Nutrient uptake

Allows fertilizer to penetrate the soil rather than sitting in thatch — dramatically improving the return on every dollar spent on lawn inputs.

Root expansion

Relieves compaction pressure so roots can grow deeper, building a thicker, more drought-resistant lawn that recovers faster from heat, traffic, and stress.

Our approach

Specialist focus

We only do core aeration. That’s not a limitation — it’s a deliberate choice. Specialization means better equipment maintenance, better technician training, and better results than a generalist lawn care crew that aerates between mowing jobs. When aeration is all you do, you get good at it.

Commercial-grade equipment

We use commercial core aerators that pull consistent, deep plugs — the kind of penetration that actually relieves compaction at the root zone. Hardware store rentals and consumer machines simply don’t reach the same depth or density of coverage. The equipment difference is real and visible in the results.

Transparent, flat-rate pricing

$100 for front or back yard. $185 for both. That’s the price — no site visit required, no estimates, no negotiations. We believe pricing should be something you can plan around, not something that surprises you after the work is done.

Built to scale with integrity

We’re expanding to new markets because the model works — and because the same lawn problems that exist in Texas exist everywhere compaction, clay soil, and hot summers challenge homeowners. Every new market gets the same equipment, the same training, and the same flat-rate pricing. No corners cut.
